Thought I would let you know what is on my painting table at the moment - so you can expect pictures of the completed figures sooner rather than later.
The thirteen remaining Gretchins, three remaining Androids, and seven remaining Orks from Space Crusade (Milton Bradley Board Game long out of print).
An couple of old metal miniatures (possibly TSR?) - an adventurer thief-type with an altered torch (it is almost out) and a hydra, which has the body of a lion and eight snake/dragon heads that had to be assembled and modelled with "green stuff".
I have just finished assembling and tidying up (by applying "green stuff" to the gaps) some Games Workshop miniatures - Warhammer Chaos Knights (set of five on horseback) and Warhammer Vampire Counts Crypt Ghouls (set of 10). I am searching around for some inspiration for the paint schemes of these, if you have any ideas please let me know!
Recently managed to finish off a few that had been part done - they have now been added to my website galleries. There are five additions to Descent Journeys in the Dark: beastman, sorcerer, Grey Ker, One Fist and skeleton. Four additions to Mostly Metal: old TSR figures Gandalf and Umber Hulk, a monkey with wings (reminds me of those nasty creatures in the Wizard of Oz) and the very first miniature I ever bought — a sorceress, she has suffered badly from lead rot and I have tried to reconstruct her hand. One addition to War of the Ring: Southrons & Easterlings Elite.

Discworld Miniatures
Just found out about these fantastic new miniatures - they are awesome!
Micro Art Studio started selling 30mm unpainted metal miniatures based on Terry Pratchett's Discworld characters in late October 2008. They have six to start with, all painted up on their site and I have just seen the "greens" for three more on coolminiornot. Here are the pictures from these sites:
Rincewind:
Sam Vimes
Granny Weatherwax
Nanny Ogg:
Death
The following "greens" were sculpted by Kul Asyrk and hopefully they will also soon be made into 30mm metal miniatures by Micro Art Studios.
Nobby Nobs
The Luggage
Susan Sto Helit
Micro Art Studio is a small Polish company and each of the first six figures retails for 8.54Euro to 9.76Euro.
I cant wait to get my hands on these - what could be better than combining my two favourite things - Terry Pratchett and Miniatures!
I will happily paint these for commission - so if you are interested please contact me by email or via my website.

The Joys of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME)
I had a great night at the 80s xmas do Friday night, really enjoyed the music and the company and the hilarious outfits!
Today I am still suffering - every muscle in my body is trying to scream louder than the others, all of my glands are swollen and painful, my throat is sore, I am exhausted physically and mentally even though I slept for thirteen hours or more last night, not to mention doing nothing yesterday. I am feeling vague, having time-slips and finding it hard to write this.
I am still happy and pleased that I went. I managed much better than I did last year, or the year before, or the year before that - and I could not get out of bed for the 2004 one so I am definitely improving overall. I just wish the process was not so slow.
I do not think I shall be able to get to the painting table for a while, but there are lots of things I want to "surf" in between rests and cups of hot chocolate. I am just lucky that I have a laptop I can use in bed.
Still the most important thing is to stay happy and positive and I am good at that :o)

That seems to work!
OK so that seems to work - I have managed to match the style to my website - well close enough for me. Unfortunately, after playing around with this and my profile, I do not have the time to post anything. I am off to my boyfriends work xmas do tonight - 80s theme so I have to go and start back-combing my hair!
First Blog Entry
Hi Everyone!
Please bear with me whilst I try to figure out how all this blog stuff works! Just going to try and get the blog to match the colours and fonts of my website.
